Target may be violating state child protection laws with many of their “Pride” items, according to a letter to Target from the Attorneys General from seven states—Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, and South Carolina. The letter cited concerns about the company promoting and selling potentially damaging products to minors, interfering with parental authority about sex and gender identity and possibly violations of fiduciary duties by Target’s directors and officers.
