Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen has rejected a proposed ballot measure that sought to solidify the right to an abortion within the state constitution. The proposed measure was deemed “legally insufficient” due to its language, which, if passed, would have elevated abortions above all other medical procedures within the state and restricted the state from interfering in serious health and safety concerns. A similar bill proposed in Arkansas was also turned down for similar reasons.

Do you believe that the state should have the right to intervene in serious health and safety concerns related to medical procedures, including abortions?
