Midway through July, the Department of Defense said that President Joe Biden had approved the deployment of "select reserve forces with up to 3,000 personnel, augmenting the armed forces in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve." According to Army Lt. Gen Douglas A. Sims II, “This [executive order] reaffirms the unwavering support and commitment to defend NATO‘s eastern flank in the wake of Russia’s illegal and unprovoked war on Ukraine.” Essentially, the Pentagon can now tap into reserves to support Ukraine in its war against Russia.

How do you feel about the United States’ role in the war in Ukraine?

The U.S. has no business in the war with Ukraine and I don’t approve of my tax dollars being used for it!
The war with Ukraine is necessary to keep Putin at bay.
I supported the Ukraine war but no longer think the U.S. needs to be involved.
I think the war with Ukraine is manufactured and they are making it look worse than it is to continue funneling U.S. money into the country.
