Has “The Chosen” Or Other Christian Entertainment Led You To Christ?

In an interview with CBN's 700 Club, "The Chosen" actor Nick Shakoor, who plays Zebedee, the father of James and John, discussed how the program led him to rediscover his faith. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Shakoor was raised Greek Orthodox. Like so many, he lost faith as time went on. When he was selected for "The Chosen," he questioned the existence of God. Shakoor attended a conference with two buddies and used the opportunity to ask God to take away the weight he felt on his shoulders. He gave his life to God that day. He told God, “‘This is my offering to You,’ because I’ve been on this show, ‘I’ve been hearing about You. I’ve been hearing about these parables and I just want to be with You now.’ So I gave Him everything.”
