In an interview with People Magazine, actor Dennis Quaid revealed that he is "grateful to be alive" after overcoming his battle with addiction. Quaid attributes his healing to his faith in God. He said, “That’s really what we’re looking for, the joy of life, which is our gift, actually, the relationship with God that we all have. It’s at the bottom of it, the joy of being alive.” Today's America is largely plagued by issues stemming from a damaged connection with faith.

Do you agree that a lack of faith in God is to blame for much of America’s problems?

Yes, I believe that when we started removing God from everything, we set ourselves up for problems.
I don’t believe that faith in God has anything to do with our issues in America.
I think religion is to blame for what is happening in America.
I think America is doing great and has no significant issues.
