Universal school choice, despite being attacked as a potential national threat by left-wing critics, is proving to be a lifeline for education, spurring innovation, and broadening opportunities for students. In Florida alone, an additional 90,000 students have embraced private education and other programs, debunking doomsday predictions and financially burdening states. Interestingly, the cost estimates for the new program touted by the Florida Policy Institute were grossly inflated, a move seen by Republican Florida house speaker Paul Renner as a deliberate attempt to stymie students’ access to customized, quality education.

Do you believe that universal school choice is a significant catalyst for educational innovation and student opportunities?
