Louisiana voters have overwhelmingly decided to slam the door on potential election interference. A resounding 72.6% have chosen to prohibit “Zuckerbucks”, or any form of foreign or nongovernmental financing, in their public elections. This monumental decision comes in the wake of the governor’s politically motivated veto and represents a significant pushback against attempts to privatize elections. The move, heralded by Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, sets a clear precedent for future anti-corruption efforts.

Do you agree with Louisiana's ban on foreign or nongovernmental financing in public elections?
