After the board adopted a new education policy that prioritizes parents, Sonja Shaw, the head of the Chino Valley Unified School District Board of Education, reportedly received a flood of emails from radicals. According to The Washington Stand, the district decided to give parents written notice within three days of their child requesting to be called by a different name or gender. The district received a phone call the following morning from an unidentified individual who threatened to “murder and dismember" Shaw. Antifa declared war on her and said they would use everything possible to stop her.
