Minnesota’s House of Representatives are currently deliberating the establishment of a “health equity grant fund” to continue funding abortions after refusing to support women through pregnancy and maternity centers.
If passed, HF 1278 would create $30,000,000 in funding for “abortion providers, uncompensated care, and to increase” the availability and access for women to receive abortions throughout the state. Democrats recently shot down a bill that would have provided funding for pregnancy centers and maternity homes, instead pushing for medically-induced abortions instead.
