A poll conducted in August 2024 found that most Americans think Vice President Kamala Harris lacks sincerity in her campaign and messaging to the voting public while former President Donald Trump appears genuine.
“The poll, conducted August 25-27, found that 53 percent of 1,554 Americans sampled believe Harris is placating the public and merely telling folks what they want to hear. Conversely, just over a third of voters, 35 percent, say Harris believes in what she actually says. Twelve percent are unsure,” Breitbart wrote in their analysis of an Economist/YouGov poll. “The contrast between perceptions of Harris and Americans’ outlook on former President Donald Trump in this poll is stark, with 51 percent of all Americans saying he believes what he says. In comparison, 39 percent are of the opinion he says what he thinks will please voters.”
What Matters Is How You Feel
Some voters feel that Trump and his running mate Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance are a cause for concern as they do not want to create any federal-level abortion laws. Instead, their campaign has said they will return all power to the states, as our Founding Fathers intended, allowing each voter to democratically decide whether their home state supports the lives of the unborn. Democrats have yet to tell their voters what their exact policies and platforms are heading into 2024. But since we’ve lived under their leadership for four years, one can presume inflation, crime, the economy, and an open border are likely not top of the list. The latest details released by the DNC still put President Joe Biden as the leader of the 2024 ticket.
