A post shared in late Feb. on social media revealed the 2025-2027 Wisconsin Budget Recommendations, which seem to eradicate women from the language used by lawmakers.
Instead of using the word “mother,” lawmakers want to start using the phrase “inseminated person,” as well as changing other terminology to remove as many gender-related terms as possible, according to Newsweek. The budget was introduced in mid-February by Wisconsin Democratic Gov. Tony Evers.

Republicans Stand Against The Changes
“It is not only deeply offensive, but it is an outright attack on the very essence of motherhood,” Republican State Rep. Amanda Nedweski said in a statement, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “It is unconscionable that the Governor has the audacity to take the most beautiful, life-giving act a woman can perform — bringing children into this world — and turn it into nothing more than gender-neutral, virtue-signaling jargon to appease his far-left base.” (READ MORE: What Is The Purpose Of Trump’s Cabinet?)
“Governor Evers is a former science teacher,” the statement continued. “It appears to me that he needs a refresher on basic biology. Last I checked, only one gender is capable of giving birth — women. Anyone who says otherwise is denying science.”
Many other Wisconsin lawmakers spoke out against the potential change. Their outcry was echoed by the Republican Governor’s Association and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.
