TAKE THE POLL: CLICK HERE

Hundreds, if not thousands of people gathered at Ohio State University campus in August to testify their love of Christ while many were baptized.

The Sunday event took place outside OSU’s Curl Market and was organized by a collective of Christian student groups, according to the Christian Post. Many members of the school’s esteemed football team were in attendance, with some leading the worship. (TAKE A POLL: Are You Voting Kamala or Trump?)

An estimated 60 attendees of the event were baptized that evening, including “receiver Emeka Egbuka, running back TreVeyon Henderson, defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau, and former wide receiver Kamryn Babb,” the outlet noted.

Estimates on the exact number of attendees ranged from 800 to 1,000 but one OSU faculty member told the outlet that the number was likely more like 2,000. The individual said he was “still flying high” following the gathering. (TAKE A POLL: Do You Believe Current Government Policies Positively Impact Your Daily Life?)

“It was all Jesus-based, all focused on Him,” he stated. “Very vulnerable and very moving.”  Apparently the baptisms were completely unplanned. “It started spontaneous baptisms, and the football guys were the ones baptizing them,” the faculty member continued. “Person after person came. You could just see the Spirit moving in people. It was different, nothing I’ve ever experienced before.”
