Did you know that gift cards are the most popular gifts? We didn’t either, but 48% of men and 64% of women preferring plastic cash to a cold-hard gift. This is great for last-minute holiday shoppers who have no idea what to get their loved ones!
Surprisingly, men spend almost 10% more on their Christmas shopping than women, with Americans spending an average of $997.73 per person. More than half of all American’s Christmas budget is allocated to gifts, according to Sender, with non-gift expenses being roughly $231 each. Most Americans Start Shopping Before …
November!
Apparently 56% of the U.S. population begins their Christmas purchases well before November. An estimated 9% of the U.S. wait until December to start their shopping, with 1% waiting until after the holidays to get it all done.
