A group of Kentucky lawmakers and groups like the ACLU don’t think it is important to educate children on the scientific truths of human development, despite the introduction of HB 397 in 2025.
Known colloquially as the “Baby Olivia Act,” Kentucky, along with countless other states, may soon teach publicly educated children about ” human growth and development which includes a high-definition ultrasound video showing the development of the brain, heart, sex organs, and other vital organs in early fetal development,” according to the Pro-Family Legislative Network.
It is unclear why this essential source of human knowledge has been withheld from educational curriculums across the country. Groups like the ACLU appear to think that educating children on how they grow within the womb is deemed “anti-abortion.” Again, it’s not explicit stated, but it appears that both lawmakers and large groups of well-funded faceless strangers would prefer children in Kentucky learn to murder their unborn child rather than simply understand where it is we all come from.
Why This Law Matters To You
It doesn’t matter where you live in the world, the refusal to teach children the fundamentals of life seems … odd, to say the least. If governments and school boards are so confident in their push for things like climate change curriculums and sexual education, or even the idea that a person can change their gender, why not teach kids how babies grow inside the womb.
