Before her death in 1996, a blind Bulgarian psychic made a series of forecasts for 2025, and one of them came true in March (apparently).
Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, better known as Baba Vanga, is known by some for her eerily accurate predictions about the future (if you believe this sort of thing). Her fortune telling resume includes 9/11, the death of Princess Diana, and even the rise of China. And apparently, her predictions for 2025 aren’t exactly the most fun either.
We’re in for a year of “shattering earthquakes, war breaking out in Europe, and a worldwide economic disaster. In all fairness, we already have a war in Europe between Ukraine and Russia. Germany says its ramping up its military preparedness for war, but there are millions of people praying their efforts are redundant. Yes, we’re probably going to see a lot of people in trouble with their housing and debt in 2025, but that one has also been on the books for a while.
End Of The World … Ish?
The only prediction to have come true so far is the one about the earthquake. A magnitude 7.7 quake hit Myanmar and parts of Thailand on March 28, killing thousands of people and causing widespread damage, according to the New York Post. Baba Vanga believed the end of world will start in 2025, but it won’t officially end until the year 5079 — so we have time to do some fun stuff. Here’s Baba’s timeline on doomsday:
- 2028: Humans will begin to explore Venus as an energy source.
- 2033: The polar ice caps will melt, raising sea levels to drastic heights worldwide.
- 2076: Communism will spread to countries across the world.
- 2130: Humans will make alien contact.
- 2170: A drought will devastate much of the world.
- 3005: Earth will go to war with a civilization on Mars.
- 3797: Humans will have to vacate the Earth because it’s become uninhabitable.
- 5079: The world will end.
Funny how these psychics always predict the worst, scariest things, huh?
