The average American spends $321 throughout the five days around Thanksgiving, according to WalletHub. An additional $26 million is spent on property loss from residential fires during the holiday, which is a little scary.
The average American male also eats roughly 4,500 calories in their Thanksgiving meal, meaning they’d have to walk on the treadmill for 10 hours to burn off the deliciousness.
