Should LGBTQ Flags Be in Schools?

In February, Tennessee’s legislation to largely prohibit LGBTQ flags in public school classrooms sparked intense debate, passing the House with a 70-24 vote. Proponents argue the measure is aimed at keeping sexual content away from children, while opponents, highlighting the importance of inclusivity and support for LGBTQ students, voice strong opposition. The law, however, still permits various other flags, emphasizing an exclusivity towards sexual-preference delineation.
